The Six Eighths - Chamber Music Festival

Pantelleria becomes, for the summer of 2025, the perfect stage where emotion and musical refinement blend with the scents of the Mediterranean: the second edition of the Suoni Panteschi Chamber Music Festival returns, a chamber music series designed to showcase the island’s most evocative corners and offer residents and visitors an unprecedented sonic journey.

The opening takes place on the evening of July 5th in the historic Piazza Castello: the quartet “Sei Ottavi” will lead the audience through a programme of contemporary compositions and classical works, with string harmonies conversing with the castle’s magical twilight. An ensemble of emerging musicians will perform pieces ranging from eighteenth-century minuets to twenty-first-century scores, highlighting the timbral richness and Mediterranean inspirations.
