DATA PROCESSING NOTICE (WEBSITE WWW.VISITPANTELLERIAISLAND.IT) This section of the website aims to outline the data protection policies of the Municipality of Pantelleria, in accordance with European Regulation No. 679/2016 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, regarding the processing of personal data collected while browsing the website www.visitpantelleriaisland.it.

WHY THIS PRIVACY NOTICE This privacy notice describes the management of the Municipality of Pantelleria’s website www.visitpantelleriaisland.it in relation to the processing of personal data of users who consult and interact with the site and its web services accessible online. This notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED Browsing data: The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its nature could allow users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties. This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users, URI addresses of the requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, size of the response file, numerical code indicating the server response status, and other parameters related to the user's operating system and IT environment.

These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on site use and to check its correct functioning. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of computer crimes against the site and may be retained for up to 30 days for legal purposes.
