The equipped area of Montagna Grande is located along the southwestern side of Pantelleria, at about 600 meters of elevation. It is nestled within a pine and holm oak forest, inside the island’s largest wooded zone. Accessible from Upper Sibà via marked trails, it offers wooden tables, fire pits, and shaded areas ideal for rest stops and picnics. From here, several hiking routes start that penetrate the heart of the National Park, winding among extinct craters, Mediterranean scrubland, and views over the Strait of Sicily. The site is suitable for families, walkers, and hikers.
