The Mother Church of Pantelleria was rebuilt in the early 2000s, replacing the previous mid-20th-century building that had been demolished due to structural issues. The design combines Christian symbolism with architectural elements typical of the island. The nave is topped by a central dome and surrounded by a masonry screen that defines the entire volume. Access is provided by three main entrances: the seafront side, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and Via Mazzini.
