The Pantelleria Sea Museum is dedicated to the island’s maritime history and archaeology. Housed in the former Arenella industrial complex, it displays Punic and Roman amphorae, anchors, objects recovered from shipwrecks, and panels on the underwater campaigns led by Sebastiano Tusa. The museum documents trade in the Strait of Sicily and the island’s strategic role in Mediterranean routes. Expanding spaces will soon accommodate new artifacts and projects to enhance the submerged heritage.
