The Cala Gadir harbor is framed by a small fishing village, its houses arranged in a semicircle along the sea. Sheltered and easily accessible, it serves as a natural landing for small boats. The name, of Arabic origin, means “water basin.” The area is also known for its thermal pools carved into the rock, used since ancient times for their therapeutic properties. On the seabed lie two Punic shipwrecks, part of an underwater archaeological trail.
